The LV Digital Shed began in 2013 when Traralgon Neighbourhood Learning House  (TNLH) received a grant from Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) or Learn Local as it is widely known.

The project began at TNLH, working with Lavalla Catholic College to offer a service to support people with technology. We became aware through this work of the gaps in digital literacy in our community and this service has continued for over 3 years, growing in the services it offers to our community.

In 2014 the Digital Shed won the Learn Local ‘Innovation in Digital Literacy Award’.

The program aims to assist others to improve digital literacy. We want to support others to understand and develop skills to help them in the digital age. On Fridays we are available from 10am – 3pm  for people to come in and talk face to face with a Digital Shed volunteer and get assistance with their computer issues or inquiries.
